Last year, it seemed like Gucci was everywhere. I try not to let myself get too swept up in trends, but half-way through the year it was too late. I had completely fallen in love with the Gucci Marmont mini bag. I’ve been using it for about six months now, so I thought I’d do a review now that I’ve had time to properly test it out. I hope that if you are thinking of buying this bag, that this helps your decision!
Gucci’s packaging is simply stunning. I love the clean lines and the elegant white and black colour scheme, both of which help make the experience that little bit more luxurious. The box it comes in has a magnetic flap, which is really easy to get in and out of, and I have found perfect for storing the bag when I’m not using it. The dustbag is equally perfect – it does a great job of protecting the bag, as well as being such a soft, luxurious silky material.
The chanel cf bag is undisputedly one of the most important accessories in the history of fashion, and its creation, along with those of its chanel cf bag predecessor and Boy Bag descendent, are filled with historical fashion lore. There’s also a lot of confusion and misinformation about the bags, as well as their details, differences and origins, though, so we set out to debunk or confirm what we could.
Rather than opt for a classic flap, I decided to go for the chanel cf bag , which I’ve had my eye on since it was released in 2011. I’ve got a bit of a penchant for small sized bags, which in part might be due to the fact that anything other than a tote bag during the week is redundant for me, so it probably goes without saying that I decided to go for the small. While I do also like the medium – and it’s certainly a more practical size for day-to-day – personally I find that anything larger than the small can look a little boxy against your frame if you’re not careful.
There’s no denying that gucci marmont camera dark blue bag is tiny, but I have found it super practical so far. I took it on holiday with me to Melbourne, and it was the perfect companion; it fit what I needed, and it’s crossbody style meant it was pretty fuss free. The only issue I have with this bag’s practicality (size aside – obviously you can’t take the kitchen sink with you with this bag!) is the length of its strap – it’s just a tad longer than I’d like it (I’m 5’4), but it’s definitely not a major issue for me.
I know it seems a little strange that I’ve given such a small bag such a high score here, but it’s because that it fits so much more than you would think. I can fit:
- iPhone 5S
- Prada Card Holder
- Louis Vuitton Zippy Coin Purse
- Powder Compact
